About This Study
This study is an independent research effort designed to characterize how clinical research sites perform budget feasibility assessments during study start-up.
The focus is on understanding current workflows, tools, and operational challenges involved in financial feasibility evaluation across a range of site types and roles.
Why This Study Is Being Conducted
Budget feasibility assessment is a critical step in clinical trial start-up, yet practices vary widely across institutions.
Many sites rely on manual or semi-structured approaches, often requiring translation of sponsor-provided budgets into locally usable formats. These processes may introduce inefficiencies, limit transparency, and contribute to delays in study activation.
This study aims to better understand current practices and identify common barriers, with the goal of informing future process improvement efforts.
Participation and Data Use
Participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Responses will be analyzed in aggregate to identify patterns in feasibility practices, tools, and perceived challenges across clinical research sites.
Findings from this study may be used for research dissemination, including presentations or peer-reviewed publication.
